Anti-Social Behaviour and Restorative Practice
Posted on: 24th, July 2023
Tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) is a top priority for the Police and Crime Commissioner and as a result, our new contract which started on 1st April 2023, has a renewed focus on working with partners from Hampshire Constabulary, Local Authorities and businesses to explore how Restorative Practice may be used as a potential response to ASB issues. This will involve linking in with the Anti-Social Behaviour Task Force and building effective referral pathways with our Community Safety Partners.
Restorative Practice is available to all victims of crime and anti-social behaviour, as well as those subject to conflict or disputes (non-crime) in their local communities. As a result, the service will be accessible to all members of the diverse communities across Hampshire and Isle of Wight and can be referred to our service by Hampshire Police or local Community Safety Partners.
